Jim Kenny Honoured
I am delighted to announce that Jim Kenny is to be appointed a vice president of Table Tennis England. This accolade is in part, testament to Jim’s colossal contribution at many of the prestigious tournaments held in the UK and Europe. Locally, Jim has served the Sheffield committee as tournament secretary/organiser for the past fifteen years. In 2011 he was presented with the Norman Lee Jubilee trophy as club secretary of the year. In 2014 Jim received the highest honour from the league when he was awarded the Arthur Smith memorial trophy for outstanding service. Jim also serves on the South Yorkshire county committee as Deputy National Councillor.
